Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop sound after capturing the attention of the world through her hit songs "Starry Eyed,"" along with "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice, and her talent in making songs that are captivating and empathetic. Her style is similar to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians similar to her. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she was preparing the launch of her debut album.
