Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, took classes in clarinets as well as cellos and pianos at Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her grants for her school's theatre. After graduating Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp determined to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she took on eight different characters. Sharp also appeared in Abyssinia and Aida. Other performances included: Thunder Knockin', Jitney and The Producers. Sharp is a performer who has performed on both the screen and the stage working on a number of original projects. She sings as often as she can, and she has an album of her own currently in the process of being recorded. Sharp, who is often either in front of or behind the camera as well as in the studio for music, also loves staying in shape. Sharp studies Krav Maga as well as boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, go hiking and taking a lengthy road trips. Sharp lives within Los Angeles with family.
