Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American lawyer and author who was employed by Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct law professor in New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She's appeared on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File, with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs and The Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned her bachelor's from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a US Attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues on NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." Between 1995 and 2001, she was a tenured professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
