Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then she appeared in several Broadway performances before she was an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called The album is Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she was also a prominent director of popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved to Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
